Welcome to TruRoot Living.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TruRoot Living website, digital content, products, services, and related features (collectively, the “Services”).
The Services are operated by TruRoot LLC, doing business as TruRoot Living (“TruRoot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, downloading or accessing our digital materials, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

The availability of specific products, resources, and features may change over time.
2. Informational and Educational Purposes Only
TruRoot provides general educational and informational content.
TruRoot is not a medical provider, healthcare provider, occupational therapist, physical therapist, attorney, emergency service, or other licensed professional service.
Nothing provided through the Services is intended to constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation advice, legal advice, or individualized professional guidance.
Our content and products are not substitutes for advice from qualified healthcare professionals or other appropriate professionals familiar with your individual circumstances.
You are responsible for determining whether any information, product, activity, modification, or recommendation is appropriate for you or another person.
If you have questions about health, mobility, recovery, medications, physical limitations, safety, or medical care, consult an appropriate qualified professional.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your applicable local emergency service.
3. Accessibility and Safety
TruRoot discusses products, tools, routines, home environments, accessibility, recovery, caregiving, preparedness, and everyday activities that may involve individual safety considerations.
Every person's abilities, needs, health circumstances, environment, and living situation are different.
A product or suggestion that is useful for one person may not be appropriate for another.
You should follow manufacturer instructions, warnings, weight limits, installation requirements, and safety information for any product you use. Where appropriate, seek professional guidance before making changes related to mobility, home safety, recovery, or health.
TruRoot does not guarantee that any product, recommendation, guide, checklist, or resource will prevent injury, falls, emergencies, complications, or other adverse outcomes.
4. Emergency Contact Resources
TruRoot may provide products and educational resources designed to help individuals and their emergency contacts organize and communicate useful information.
These resources are intended for preparedness and organizational purposes only.
They do not create a legal, medical, fiduciary, or professional relationship between TruRoot and any user, emergency contact, caregiver, or other person.
Designation as an “emergency contact” through information contained in a TruRoot resource does not itself grant legal authority to make medical, financial, or other decisions on another person's behalf.
Users are responsible for determining whether additional legal documents, medical authorizations, advance directives, powers of attorney, or other arrangements may be appropriate for their circumstances.
TruRoot resources should not be relied upon as a substitute for emergency services, medical records, legal documents, or professional advice.
5. Digital Products and Downloads
TruRoot may sell or provide digital products, including planners, guides, worksheets, printable materials, puzzle collections, and interactive digital experiences.
Unless otherwise stated, purchasing a digital product gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may download or print materials where that functionality is expressly provided.
You may not:
-
Resell or redistribute a digital product
-
Share purchased access with others
-
Upload purchased materials to another website, platform, file-sharing service, or database
-
Reproduce materials for commercial purposes
-
Remove TruRoot branding, copyright notices, or other proprietary markings
-
Modify and resell TruRoot materials
-
Use TruRoot content to create substantially similar products for sale or distribution
All rights not expressly granted to you remain with TruRoot.
6. Interactive Digital Content
Some TruRoot products may be accessed through an online or interactive experience rather than solely through a downloadable file.
Access to interactive products may require an internet connection and compatible device, browser, or software.
We may make reasonable changes to the technology, hosting, presentation, or functionality used to provide digital experiences.
While we aim to keep purchased digital experiences available and functional, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, third-party services, technical problems, security issues, or circumstances outside our control.
Any specific access period or additional conditions disclosed on a product page at the time of purchase will form part of your purchase terms.
7. Accounts and Member Features
Certain Services may allow or require you to create an account.
You are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate information
-
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
-
Restricting unauthorized access to your account
-
Activities conducted through your account
You may not share login credentials for the purpose of allowing others to access paid products without purchasing them.
We may suspend or terminate accounts reasonably believed to be used fraudulently, unlawfully, in violation of these Terms, or in a manner that threatens the security or operation of the Services.
8. Purchases and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
By submitting an order, you represent that the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors. Your use of those services may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.
We reserve the right to correct pricing or product-description errors and to cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, pricing errors, or product unavailability.
Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, will be displayed as appropriate during checkout.
9. Physical Products, Shipping, and Availability
Physical products may be offered in limited quantities.
Product colors, materials, dimensions, packaging, and appearance may vary slightly from photographs or digital representations because of manufacturing, display settings, materials, or other normal variations.
Estimated processing, shipping, or delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
TruRoot is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, incorrect delivery information, or circumstances reasonably outside our control.
Product availability may change without notice.
Additional shipping, return, replacement, or refund terms displayed on the website at the time of purchase may apply to your order.
10. Returns, Refunds, and Digital Purchases
We want you to feel confident about what you purchase from TruRoot.
Return and refund eligibility for physical products is governed by the return or refund policy displayed on the TruRoot website and any terms presented at checkout.
Because digital products provide access to downloadable, printable, or interactive content shortly after purchase, digital purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided.
However, if you purchase a TruRoot digital product and it is not what you expected or you experience a problem with your purchase, please contact us within 5 days of purchase. We will review the circumstances and may provide a refund, replacement, or other appropriate resolution.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests in cases of repeated refund activity, misuse, redistribution or copying of digital materials, fraud, or other abuse of this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
11. The TruRoot Edit and Third-Party Products
TruRoot may recommend or feature products manufactured, sold, fulfilled, or serviced by third parties through The TruRoot Edit or elsewhere on the Services.
We select products based on factors we believe are relevant to usability, accessibility, quality, functionality, practicality, and customer experience. However, inclusion in The TruRoot Edit is not a guarantee that a product will be appropriate for every person or circumstance.
Third-party products are manufactured and sold by their respective manufacturers or retailers, not TruRoot.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, TruRoot does not control and is not responsible for a third party's:
-
Product manufacturing or quality control
-
Inventory or availability
-
Pricing
-
Shipping or fulfillment
-
Returns or refunds
-
Warranties
-
Customer service
-
Product claims
-
Website practices or policies
Your purchase from a third-party retailer is a transaction between you and that retailer and is subject to the retailer's own terms and policies.
12. Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on the Services are affiliate links.
If you purchase a product through an affiliate link, TruRoot may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
TruRoot participates in affiliate programs, which may include the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other programs.
As an Amazon Associate, TruRoot earns from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate relationships do not change our commitment to selecting products based on their relevance to TruRoot's standards and customers. However, you should independently determine whether a recommended product is appropriate for your circumstances before purchasing or using it.
Prices and availability of third-party products may change at any time and are controlled by the applicable retailer.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Services may contain links to websites, retailers, platforms, payment processors, social media services, or other services operated by third parties.
These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes.
TruRoot does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, security, privacy practices, availability, products, services, or conduct.
Your interactions with third parties are governed by their respective terms and policies.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Services and their content are owned by or licensed to TruRoot and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

16. Email Communications
If you choose to join the TruRoot email list, request product updates, or otherwise consent to marketing communications, we may send you emails about resources, products, collections, and other TruRoot updates.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those communications.
Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent where necessary to administer your purchases, account, or requested Services.
17. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also subject to the TruRoot Privacy Policy.
Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how TruRoot collects, uses, and handles personal information.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES, CONTENT, RESOURCES, AND DIGITAL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
TruRoot does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every person's needs or circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruRoot disclaims warranties not expressly provided by TruRoot, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in this section affects warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRUROOT LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES, CONTENT, PRODUCTS, RESOURCES, OR THIRD-PARTY LINKS OR PRODUCTS.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TruRoot's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
(a) the amount you paid directly to TruRoot for the product or Service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
(b) $100.
The limitations in this section apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
20. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TruRoot LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
22. Informal Dispute Resolution
Before initiating arbitration concerning a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, you and TruRoot agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
A party seeking to raise a dispute should provide written notice describing the nature of the dispute and the requested resolution.
The parties will have 30 days after receipt of the notice to attempt to resolve the matter before either party initiates arbitration, unless applicable law permits otherwise.
23. Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court and claims seeking appropriate injunctive or equitable relief relating to intellectual-property rights or unauthorized access to or misuse of the Services, you and TruRoot agree that disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or a transaction with TruRoot will be resolved through individual binding arbitration rather than in court, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under the applicable AAA consumer arbitration rules in effect when the arbitration is initiated.
The arbitration may be conducted remotely, by written submissions, or at another mutually agreed location where permitted under the applicable rules.
Nothing in this provision prevents either party from bringing an eligible individual claim in small claims court.
24. Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND TRUROOT AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Where a dispute is subject to valid binding arbitration, you and TruRoot waive the right to a trial by jury for that dispute.
If applicable law prevents enforcement of a particular portion of this section, that portion will be applied only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
25. Changes to the Services
TruRoot may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services, products, content, or website features from time to time.
We do not guarantee that any particular free resource, recommendation, product, feature, or third-party link will remain available indefinitely.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, legal requirements, or other operational needs.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
28. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional policies or terms expressly presented in connection with a particular product or Service, constitute the agreement between you and TruRoot regarding your use of the Services.
